The quality of the sales IC test socket is invisible to the naked eye, and must pass the power-on test. Using common methods to detect the current, voltage, inductance, resistance, and capacitance of the IC can not completely judge the quality of the IC; running the program through the IC test fixture application function can judge the quality of the IC.
Two: Rework and inspection; sometimes there is a problem with the motherboard during the production process, what is the problem? Hard to judge! With the test socket, put the disassembled IC in the test socket and pass the test to eliminate the reason of whether it is IC.
3: Sale of IC test sockets for sub-inspection; ICs that are returned for repair may be damaged during the removal process. The test sockets can be used to separate the broken ICs, which can save a lot of manpower and material resources, thereby reducing various costs . Take the BGA packaged IC as an example. If the IC test socket is sold without sub-inspection, the broken IC is pasted and checked by the FCT test. The IC is removed, baking and cleaning are required, which is troublesome and may damage related devices. Testing with B test socket can greatly reduce the probability of the above problems.
At present, there are also some special test instruments to check the quality of ICs, but such instruments are more expensive, and in the follow-up test, each IC has to buy a test socket, which is very costly. For the average enterprise, it cannot afford such an expensive expense. The test fixture we made has low cost, short delivery time, and intuitive and reliable test results.
